Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal information we handle when you shop with Sienna & Blake Charleston, why we need it, who else sees it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
We only ask for what we need to sell you clothing and get it to your door. That includes:
- Your name and the delivery address for your order.
- Your email address, so we can confirm the order and send your tracking number.
- Your phone number, where the carrier needs it for a delivery.
- Order details: the items, sizes and colours you bought, the order number and the date.
- Correspondence you send us, for example a return request with your order number and a short description, or a photo of a faulty or wrong item.
- Payment confirmation from our payment provider, such as the method used and whether the transaction succeeded.
We do not store your card details on our own servers. Card and wallet data is entered into the systems of a certified payment provider and handled there.
Why we use it
Each piece of information has a purpose:
- To take and process your order, and to take payment for it.
- To pack your order and hand it to the carrier for delivery.
- To email you a tracking number when the order ships and to keep you updated if a parcel is damaged, delayed or missing.
- To answer your questions about fit, fabric, sizing or an order you have placed.
- To handle returns, replacements and refunds, including the quality check on a returned item.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping records of sales.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share your information only where it is needed to complete your order:
- Our payment provider, which processes the transaction over an encrypted SSL connection. Payments by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Apple Pay and Google Pay are handled this way.
- The carrier that delivers your parcel, which receives your name, delivery address and the contact details it needs to complete the delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged or goes missing, we pass on the information the carrier needs to investigate the claim.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as we are legally required to keep them for accounting and tax purposes. Emails about a return, a replacement or a carrier claim are kept while the case is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case the same order comes up again. When information is no longer needed for any of these reasons, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you are in the EU or the EEA, data protection law gives you the following rights over your personal information:
- The right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- The right to have inaccurate information corrected, for example a misspelled name or an old address.
- The right to ask us to delete information, where we are not required to keep it.
- The right to ask us to restrict how we use your information while a question about it is being resolved.
- The right to receive the information you gave us in a portable format, or to have it sent to another provider.
- The right to object to our use of your information where we rely on a legitimate interest.
- The right to withdraw consent at any time, where our use of your information is based on consent.
- The right to complain to your national data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, write to us by email or call us during our opening hours. Please include your order number if your request is about an order, so we can find the right records. We will confirm when your request has been dealt with.
Security
Every transaction on this site is encrypted over SSL and handled by a certified payment provider. We limit access to order information to the people who need it to process, ship and return orders.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page. The version published here is the one that applies.
